Operations Manager

About the position
As Operations Manager at Interconsult in Falkenberg AB, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of the business, where you are expected to drive change and innovation in a dynamic environment, focusing on sustainable growth.
The role involves strategic and operational responsibility for driving the company's success, ensuring profitability, and maintaining high standards in quality, efficiency, and relationships. You will report to the CEO of Empower Group AB and be a key member of the group’s management team, contributing to the overall development of the group and collaborations between all companies and group functions.
The role requires clear leadership, business acumen, and the ability to balance internal and external relationships. You are expected to be an ambassador for the brands Interconsult and Empower Group and promote a positive culture and work environment. In addition, you should have a business-driven approach to business and sales to achieve the company's revenue targets.
The role involves travel within Sweden and sometimes internationally.
Main responsibilities and tasks
· Leadership and work distribution: Set requirements, lead, and distribute work within the organization to ensure that the team works effectively towards common goals.
· Financial responsibility: Responsible for profit and loss (P&L), including budgeting, monitoring, and optimizing financial results.
· Sales and margins: Ensure sales growth and maintenance of margins through strategic initiatives and market analysis.
· Customer and supplier relationships: Maintain good contact with key customers and suppliers to build long-term partnerships and ensure mutual benefit.
· Culture and personnel: Ensure a positive corporate culture, good working environment, and personnel care, including personnel responsibility for your management team and/or direct reports.
Requirements for the position
· Post-secondary education in economics, engineering, or marketing.
· Leadership training and documented leadership experience.
· Previous experience leading through other managers.
· Experience working in a project-driven business with reporting responsibilities upward in the organization or group.
· Experience implementing strategies in operational operations.
· Knowledge of financial management; budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
· Negotiation skills: union matters and external business negotiations.
· Experience and knowledge of sales within B2B.
Meritorious
· Experience working in owner-led companies or entrepreneurial environments.
· Experience doing business according to the Public Procurement Act.
· Experience working in growth companies.
